no age rocked it. my head felt like a horror movie prop the next morning from all of the free rum and the free punk rock. aside from being a great band, the fellows in no age are just plain cool dudes too. i talked to drummer dean for a bit after the show and he mentioned that they thought that since they were playing a MAGIC party they expected to be playing in a convention center or something. i guess the double down is a convention center of sorts – it holds smoke and barf conventions.
there was also talk of an official no age interview for dorkdestroyer and the possibility of a house show hosted by yours truly in the future. i’ll keep you posted…don’t tell my landlord.

all i can think of is the crazy cat lady from the simpsons. but seriously, here’s a nice plan:
instead of euthanizing feral cats, why not get animal care groups to sponsor sterilization, vaccination, and feeding? commissioner chris giunchigliani is proposing an ordinance that would let crazy cat ladies, i mean – FERAL CAT COLONIES – be registered and taken care of in a cooperative way by cat lovers and animal care groups. and maybe mikey could be hired to cut the dreadlocks out of their fur!
